The Nursery Supervisor combines hands-on nursery expertise with team leadership to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality nursery output.&nbsp;Responsibilities include:<ul><li>Nursery Production and Plant Cultivation</li><li>Team Supervision and Coordination</li><li>Quality Assurance and Plant Health</li><li>Safety, Hygiene and Compliance</li><li>Administration and Record-Keeping</li></ul>Essential Skills required:<ul><li>Demonstrated nursery or horticultural experience across the full range of production tasks including propagation, growing media preparation, plant maintenance, pest and disease management, and irrigation.</li><li>Proven ability to supervise, coordinate, and develop a production team.</li><li>Strong practical skills in propagation techniques including budding, grafting, and seed/cutting selection.</li><li>Knowledge of plant species, growing requirements, pest and disease identification, and treatment methods.</li><li>Effective verbal communication — able to instruct, give feedback, and run a toolbox talk.</li><li>Ability to keep accurate production and treatment records.</li><li>Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain within 3 months of appointment).</li><li>Certificate III in Horticulture (Production Nursery) plus 2 years, or a relevant Certificate IV (Nursery Operations) plus 1 year experience, or 3 years relevant nursery or horticultural work experience.</li></ul>Salary range from $75,000 - $80,000 per annum plus superannuation.&nbsp;If you are interested in the role, then we want to hear from you.
