We are currently seeking a Production Horticulture Supervisor to join our team at our Pemberton farm.

Tasks & responsibilities

The main responsibilities are:

• organizing and supervising staff on a day-to-day basis with the ability to work confidently across all crop varieties and sections.

• Ensuring crops are ready to harvest and commence post-harvest plans as per schedule.

• Coordination of work site activities such as transport and storage of fruit, operations of machinery and equipment and regulating crops.

• Managing quality and presentation of products to ensure minimal damage by ensuring the correct soil moisture, conditions, and pest control applications are used effectively.

• Communicating with management and other supervisors.

• Ensure that harvesting equipment is correctly maintained and prevent any potential damage to mechanical equipment by ensuring the correct equipment are used.

Qualifications & experience

• with a minimum of 3 years of working experience in a supervisor role. • have experience operating and maintaining farm machinery. • supervise with a hands-on attitude.

• are a team orientated and flexible to undertake a variety of tasks

• able to work on weekends and holidays

• ability to work with management and office personnel, and warehouse teams.
